Beginner Blacksmith Class
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to hammer hot steel on an anvil?
If you don't mind getting your hands dirty, then try signing up for my Beginner Class and start learning a small part of this wonderful trade.
I teach students as young as ten years old
and a parent must be present for anyone under eighteen.
Special Note:
You may also want to check out the Intro Class which goes into more detail about tools and equipment.
In addition, some of the skills you learn in the Intro Class will also be used during the Beginner Class.
The Beginner Class consists of four projects and each project takes approximately two hours to complete.
You will be forging a wall hook, leaf, bottle opener, and a forge welded chain link and each item is yours to
keep.
Due to the amount of information provided, it is recommended to work on one project per visit to the smithy.
You would be coming here four different times to complete the Beginner Class projects.
After purchasing class time, please call to schedule your class.
I do not have set class dates and will try to work around your schedule.
You will be here for approximately two hours.
Classes are not offered on a Sunday, or after 12pm on a Monday.
Class sizes are a maximum of three people and only if they know each other for more personal instruction.
You will need your own safety glasses. Wear cotton clothing, closed toe shoes, and bring a drink if needed.
New students will need to fill out an insurance form when arriving for class.
If you would like more information, please send me a text or call.
Class cost is $250.00 per person
